Half Blood Prince Article
This article discusses how in 24 hours that Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince destroyed book sale records. The article includes a summary of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince without spoilers. The author also discusses how they think J.K Rowling shouldn't be gaining new readers, but losing old ones. They also believe that things are rushed and abrupt unexplained. I to some degree agree with this like when Harry brought up the fact that Tonks' patronous had changed, but who ever Harry was talking to whenever he brought it up shoved it to the side and changed the subject not really explaining what her patronous changed into and the significance of that change and what her patronous was to begin with. The author of this article also thinks that the book isn't really centered around Harry as much which I can see since they are so focused on the security increase at Hogwarts, and getting the memory from Slughorn , and figuring out what Darco Malfoy is up to and if he is in fact a Death Eater, but Harry is involved in solving and or causing these situations. Also, the book still revolves around Harry and his thoughts, actions, etc. Harry is just focused on the events listed about along with some other personal struggles through out the book.
Interesting. Do you agree/disagree with the author of this article? Why or why not? I'm excited to hear what YOU think about the book in your next post! :)
